Josh Perlstein Addresses Attendees at Premier Industry Conferences November 13, 2008

NORCROSS, GA, November 5, 2008 – Josh Perlstein, president of Response Media, the leading interactive agency in performance-based media, has had a busy 2008, addressing industry leaders at marketing conferences nationwide.

In February, at the Email Evolution Conference, Perlstein moderated a panel discussion entitled “Mobile Marketing – Engage Customers, Drive Response, Deepen Revenue.” He joined panelists Joel Book, director, eMarketing strategy for ExactTarget, Inc. and Scott Foernsler, senior vice president of worldwide sales, Air2Web, to share how leading marketers, including American Express, are using mobile marketing to engage consumers for revenue generation, brand awareness and extending customer relationships. Discussions centered around launching mobile marketing programs, integrating mobile with email, and how leading brands have effectively developed mobile Web sites that meet their brand needs and match consumer usage behaviors.

At DM Days 2008, Perlstein presented “Turning Prospects into Long Term Customers.” His presentation, which was given this June in New York City, offered insights on how industry leading brands use the newest integrated marketing tactics to find prospects via uncluttered media, gain insight to prospects’ behaviors, maximize online and offline lead sources and more efficiently manage the customer conversion and retention process.

For ExactTarget’s “Connections” 2008 conference, which took place September 23-25 in Indianapolis, Perlstein presented “Building Your Subscriber Database the Right Way.” The session focused on best practices to ensure email relationship programs are implemented correctly and produce maximum long-term ROI. Discussions included how to find email subscribers online by balancing quality, cost and volume and ways to leverage online subscriber acquisition to benefit other channels, such as mobile, RSS or widgets.

Josh Perlstein also keynoted at the Alaska Travel Industry annual convention in Anchorage early October. Perlstein shared online travel marketing trends and innovations through case studies that illustrated best-in-class online travel marketing success stories to a group of over 500 professionals ranging from state tourism officials to marketing executives from cruise lines, hotels and tour companies.

Finally, Perlstein led a panel of industry experts discussing “Widgets – Leverage the Power of User Generated and Distributed Content” at DMA ’08, October 11-16, in Las Vegas. Panelists include representatives from two of the industry’s most prominent Widget solution companies: Sonya Chawla, senior director of advertising for SLIDE.com, and Mitchel Ahern, director of business development for OTOLabs. Together, the panel shared case studies and insights concerning how user-generated and distributed content via Widgets is engaging consumers while driving brand awareness and direct response.
